Kirstie Visits...

So as you know we have lived in Boulder Colorado we were lucky enough to have Kirstie come for a visit. Kirstie worked with us at North Boulder Vet clinic with us.  She called and said she was coming for a visit...yeah!  But as having a few guest already......I know there is not much for us to do and see in our small town.  so Kirstie got the Walpole tour, the drive around to see the New England houses, trip to Burdicks for pastry and coffee,  Walks around ponds, Spent some time by the CT river skipping rocks (which is the first time I took the kids to the river....we only live about 2 mins for the river we will be going back the kids and chey loved it).  Kirstie was here from Thursday to Monday picked her up in Boston....so after having a mellow time in Walpole thought it might be a good idea to make a early day of bringing her back to the airport and go to the Boston Aquarium.  Monday was also the Boston Marathon little worried about traffic but so glad we went it was like 90 degrees outside it was great to be at by the water and seeing some new sites.  the kids had great fun at the aquarium.  Enjoy some photos....I didn't take as many as I should of.!  Thanks Kirstie for the visit it was great to see you!

Easter

So we are lucky enough to see all the Gascoyne Family for Easter except Joe....  Shannon and Isaac Came on Sat (cuz as you know Maya was with us for a few days).  The rest of the family all came over on Sunday.  We had a great time, Guitar was played as it always is, lots of food was eaten, Eggs were hidden, and chocolate and sweets were yummy.  And for all you in the know about our Scottish Children....yes those are proper British eggs....So lucky that when Laura visited me in NYC she brought a egg for both kids.  It was a special thing for them to have them in their baskets...I dont want them to lose that they are from Scotland, and some of the great things from there.

Busy week.....wed, thur and friday

So with Emma's Potty Training....Wednesday is our normal Library day - story/craft time starts at 10am usually get home around 11:30-12:00....So in my head I know I should not be leaving the house this is only day number 2 of potty.  But Emma Went to the bathroom at little before 10 so deiced to go, got our books ready along with extra pants, trousers and wet wipes....of coarse she had a accident totally sidetracked after bringing her to the toilet 3 times....

Thursday...Play date!
So I am lucky that I have found some great people, we have been having some playdates at alternating houses...so it was my house Thursday.  Which I said we would dye eggs, then have lunch, Erinn also was going to make cookies for the kids to decorate.  The moms are all great, everyone usually brings stuff with them - we have a great time getting to know each other.  Here's some photos....

Thursday cont.  With Shannon and Issac dropping off  Maya to stay with us for a few days, And Debbie coming over with Heidi and Emilia to play!  A great busy day.

Friday We stuck around the house and had great cousin fun.  It was great to see Maya and Cerys playing so well again

Emma and the Potty!

So my week started with Tuesday, deciding today was the day....Emma and the Potty!  She is 22 months but showing some signs that she is ready.  I tried to think of any reason not to do it....like a am doing a big road trip at the end of this month, Easter, she is my baby......but She is doing amazing!  A few accidents on Tuesday afternoon by the afternoon if there was accidents it was because I got sidetracked and I was to late.  Her accidents were usually just on the bathroom floor, or at the bedroom door cuz i don't hear her wake up - which is great.The last couple nights I have been waking her up before I got to bed....so cute this little peanut so sleepy on the toilet.  Brings back tons of memories with Cerys.  I am very proud of her, my sweet Emma!  I was really lucky with Cerys and hoped that Emma would follow suite!
