3 weeks in NH

PRESENT


Hello.....so I thought I would update alittle - :)  Me and the girls are still with Shannon and Joe - Simon is still with his Parents.  Simon is in his 3rd week at the Walpole Vet Clinic.  As you know the weather was really bloody hot when we first got here but thankfully it is becoming alittle bit normal for us.  For all you Scottish folk looking at the blog - the weather during the day is in the 80's and at night cooling to the low 70's.  Cerys had a great week at Football camp (soccer camp) - it was a fun busy week.  She is a pretty fast runner ....!  I weighted them at the clinic Emma is now at 21 lbs and Cerys is at 27 lbs.  We have been seeing Simon on the weekends.  Last weekend we went to a beach that is close by Shannon and Joes house it was great to see the Cerys playing in the water with Simon.  On Monday Shannon and I loaded the 4 kids up and drove up to another Sister in Laws Kate (and James) house in VT. My other Sister in law Debbie was also there with her 2 kids so it was a good couple day with family and great to see the 9 cousins playing.  We went on a hike on Tuesday follow by beach and ice cream time.  It looks like we will hopefully be moving into a house in Walpole the week or weekend of the 22nd of Aug.  We have phones now so if you would like your numbers pls send me a message.  hope you enjoy a couple photos from the last week.

Yesterday Cerys and  Cousin Maya started Soccer camp as known as Football camp.  Its for a week, running Monday - Friday 9 am til 10:30 am.  Yesterday was good, but the beginning Cerys was shy.  But after me leaving the field and Auntie Shannon to the rescue soon all was fine, and the fun began.  They did great, ran with the ball, kicked the ball, sat on the ball, played tag, and got some balls in the goal.  It was a warm, sunny day - they got a ice lolli from the coach.  "The Big Cheese" the coach  and assistant coach "Blueberry Muffins" are doing a great job with the kids.  Today was day #2, not as hot but still a warm day - so many water breaks and of coarse another ice lolli day. Uncle Joe was able to come and watch the girls today so Cerys and Maya both enjoyed him there to watch.  Cerys doesnt want anything to do with me on the field......I feel so loved sometimes.  Sadly Simon is working, so he is missing out.....that is what video cameras are for right.   Hope you enjoy the photos from the first day. 

Scotland...The farm

I am going to try to start updating on my current life in the states but I feel I am not totally caught up from our last days and weeks in Scotland.  I so i may start labeling PAST and PRESENT.....

PAST....

So the wonderful family that Simon was working for in Scotland THE BAIN's - Alistair and Belle.  Simon started working for the Bain's around his 2nd year of vet school doing his Lambing at their farm.  The are about a 20 min drive from our house.  Lambing time is a busy time in the UK where all the farmers get Vet students to help out on their farms.  Once lambing was done Simon continued to work at the farm when he could during the summer, weekends and sometimes during school breaks.  So they have helped us out over the years, got to know us and the kids, helped me out when I got pretty sick while Simon was in the states last year. (he left when Emma was like 3 weeks old).  But with the help of some good Glasgow friends, and the Belle. I made it through til he got home. And a big special thanks to Helen - which also helped me when I was sick.  We loved going out to the farm, hanging out getting to know them, seeing the baby animals, the highland coos( and other cows), horses, and of coarse the sheep.  Cerys loved them, and has spent some time on her phone calling and talking to them...of coarse ending with bye, bye, bye, bye, bye......we all got this from Alistair. 

I thought I would share some photos from a BBQ they had for us before we left.  There was a good group of people that we have meet by Simon working at the farm. Heather, Alistair's daughter has also been a great part of our life at the farm - we wish her all the best in the future.   We received some special going away presents that we cant wait to show off when we get into a house. We miss you all - hope to see you either in the states or when we get back to the UK.
